KJZX off the air temporarily but still looking for a home

Austin jazz lovers, we may be off the airwaves temporarily, but the music never stops! Jazz ATX Radio (KJZX 89.1 FM) has signed off for a brief intermission while we look for a permanent home. 

With the backing of the Austin Jazz Society, our goal is to be back on the air in just a couple of months. Local jazz is the heartbeat of this city, and we need your support now more than ever to keep it alive and thriving.

KJZX is a nonprofit, noncommercial public radio station and receives no funding from federal, state or local governments.  We operate as an all-volunteer organization and we are working with Austin’s Jazz Society to continue operating as Austin’s only jazz station. But we still need space!

If you know of, or are with, a local business, or a music or cultural nonprofit that has available radio studio space, then please contact us.  Perhaps you know of someone who has a vacant office or a small building that could house us temporarily for low or no cost. Our needs are modest, so even a small amount of office space would work.

Ideally, a central Austin location would be terrific, but a home is a home.
